Anti-social behavioue takes many forms, and what may be acceptable to certain people, may be a real nuisance to others.
Effective solutions to anti-social behaviour are not the responsibility of a single agency or organisation. Local residents and tenants, Local Authorities, victims and witnesses, Police, Social Services, businesses and many other groups and individuals have a role and a responsibility to tackle anti-social behaviour.
Only by working together will we tackle and make a real and lasting impact on our community.
Ards Borough Council and the Police Service of Northern Ireland Ards District Command Unit have combined resources to reduce the level of anti-social behaviour in the Ards Borough.
An Anti-Ssocial Behaviour
Team consisting of 3 Council Officers will now work full time along with Community Police Officers in order to investigate reports and to determine if offences are being committed. The overall aim is to reduce the level of anti-social behaviour in the Borough.
